I had a lovely stay at the Santa Teresa Hotel RJ - MGallery. The hospitality and charm of the hotel were great, but there were a couple of drawbacks. While the location is beautiful and gives a great view, my room left something to be desired with its lack of natural light. Overall, it was a nice experience filled with good moments and a few minor inconveniences.

Rooms
8.0
My superior room had a nice Brazilian style but was quite dark with poor lighting. I had initially booked a room with a balcony but instead received a ground floor room that didn’t offer much of a view.
Service
9.0
The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure I felt welcomed throughout my stay. However, service could be inconsistent at times, especially at the pool area, which was a bit disappointing.
Location
9.0
The hotel is located in the charming neighborhood of Santa Teresa, surrounded by greenery. It offers a peaceful vibe away from the beaches, yet is close to bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Dining
9.0
Dining at the hotel exceeded my expectations. The restaurant's tasting menu was really good, with good dishes that stood out, especially the mushroom rigatoni. However, prices at the bar and restaurant were a bit on the higher side.
Facilities
8.0
The overall facilities including the spa were lovely, but the pool could use more comfortable loungers. Also, I noticed the lack of a gym facility, which might be a downside for some guests.

My stay at the Santa Teresa Hotel RJ - MGallery was simply enchanting. The hotel's charm is undeniable, nestled in a beautiful neighborhood away from the city's bustle. While the lack of a gym was disappointing, the really good service and stunning views more than made up for it.

My stay at Santa Teresa Hotel was enjoyable but had a few hiccups. The hotel boasts beautiful views and a charming setting but is a bit away from the bustling beaches. While the staff was generally helpful and the dining experience was excellent, some aspects like room size and outdated fixtures could use improvements.

Rooms

My room was spacious with a lovely veranda overlooking the city, though I found the bathrooms a bit cramped and in need of updating. I could also hear noise from the adjoining room occasionally.
Service

The service was mostly attentive, with staff going out of their way to help me, especially on my birthday. However, I encountered some issues during check-in that felt uncomfortable, and housekeeping staff could have been more friendly.
Location

The location is tranquil and away from the craziness of Copacabana, close to several interesting spots, making it a great urban oasis. I appreciated the safety and calm environment the neighborhood offered.

Dining was a highlight, especially the breakfasts which offered delicious and thoughtfully presented options, complemented by beautiful views. The restaurant staff made my birthday special with a card and cake.
Facilities

The hotel had great facilities including a lovely pool area and a cozy bar. However, they could improve on details like a more comprehensive room service menu and better quality food options around the pool.
